In the past the Saigon Linux Group has helped organize various IT and open source events. In 2012, SLG will like to help organize the following events:
- SaigonLUG meetings (with ViPLUG)
- Saigon WordCamp (with SaigonWP.org)
- Pycon SEAsia
- Barcamp Saigon
The potential venue will be located at the Saigon Institute of Technology campus in District 12 (Quang Trung Software City).
